Gelassenheit ist die schönste Form des Selbstbewusstseins

Washbasins with soap dispensers, veneered office desks, colour accents from the 1990s and the remaining inscription “Serenity is the most beautiful form of self-confidence” tell the story of the neonatal ward’s past life. The selected works intertwine, intersect and conceal themselves within this space, enriching the room’s history with, amongst other things, images of intimacy, narratives of unusual collection repositories and past lives, sketchy approaches to landscape, and sculptural explorations of materiality.
